Spoiler alert: It isn’t. What it IS is a wonderful cream for dry skin that perennially feels tight. And that’s a lot already. Here’s why:
What’s In Bakel Nutri-Remedy 24H Comfort Cream?
HYALURONIC ACID TO HYDRATE SKIN
I’m sure you’ve heard of Hyaluronic Acid. It’s a moisture magnet on steroids.
Its job is to draw much-needed moisture from the environment into the skin. It does it so well, it holds 1000 times its weight in water, and works well both in high and low humidity conditions.
Can you imagine how happy all the extra moisture makes your skin? It plumps it up, softens it, and brightens it.
P.S. Glycerin, another moisture magnet in this cream, does the same thing. But on a smaller scale.

SHEA BUTTER TO MOISTURISE SKIN
Shea butter is a skincare hero. Very moisturizing, shea butter creates a barrier on the skin that locks moisture in. Its effects last for 8 hours or more, so there’s no risk your skin will start to feel all dry and tight again within a couple of hours.
Studies have also shown that shea butter works even better than mineral oil, which dermatologists consider to be the gold standards for moisturization. I know a lot of you don’t like mineral oil (even if there isn’t absolutely anything wrong with it), so isn’t it great we have a better option, anyway?
Oh, and I was almost forgetting to mention that shea butter may also have antioxidant properties that help us stay wrinkle-free for longer.
P.S. This cream is also loaded with natural oils that do the same thing. Sooooo moisturising!

Texture
White in color, the consistency is on the thicker side. But, not so thick its stays on the skin forever. It sinks in quite quickly, and without leaving a greasy residue behind.
Fragrance
It’s fragrance-free. If you smell a citrusy vibe, that’s the ingredients.
How To Use It
In the AM, after serums but before sunscreen. In the PM, it’s the last step of your skincare routine.
Performance & Personal Opinion
Bakel Nutri-Remedy 24H Comfort Cream is true to its name. The rich texture is intensely moisturising and provides instant comfort to dry, tight skin.
But it doesn’t stop at that. All that extra moisture makes my skin plumper, which in turn makes fine lines and wrinkles look smaller. Plus, my skin feels so soft after each application!
But the cold London weather is the true test. My first winter in London, I was so unprepared, my skin got all dry and flaky. Not this time.
This cream does a great job at keeping my skin moisturized in the cold and unforgiving London weather, which is no small feat, trust me.
FYI, a little goes a long way. This stuff will last you for ages!
