indeed labs hydration booster review

My skincare priority in winter is hydration.

With the harsh winds and low temperatures plotting to suck every last drop of water out of my skin, I want to make sure its hydration supplies are unlimited and that its protective barrier hasn’t cracked under the pressure.

That’s where a hydration booster comes in. I love boosters because you can use them alone (sort of like a serum) or add them to your fave moisturiser. At the moment, I’m using Indeed Labs Hydration Booster for dehydrated skin.

Here’s what makes it work so well:

What’s In Indeed Labs Hydration Booster?

GLYCERIN TO HYDRATE SKIN

Glycerin is a humectant. That’s how scientists call magnets that attract water from the air and dump it into your skin. This extra moisture keeps skin soft and smooth, plumps it up, and makes it glow.

Now you know why glycerin is in almost every skincare product you own!

REVIDRATETM TO STRENGTHEN YOUR SKIN’S PROTECTIVE BARRIER

RevidrateTM is a complex made up of Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Sorbitan Oleate, Sorbitan Laureate and Myristyl Malate Pbosphonic Acid.

Together, these four fellas creates a barrier on the skin that keeps moisture in and stimulates skin cells to increase natural moisturising factors.

Basically, they fix your skin’s protective barrier and make your skin soft and smooth.

NIACINAMIDE TO… EVERYTHING

My fave thing about Indeed Labs Hydration Booster is niacinamide. It’s a skincare hero that does everything. Studies have shown that niacinamide:

  • Moisturises skin
  • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles
  • Fades dark spots
  • Treats acne
  • Soothes irritations and rosacea

Niacinamide is one of those few antiaging superstars that even sensitive skin can tolerate. If it’s not in your skincare routine yet, this is your chance to incorporate it.

Texture

Lightweight. Sinks immediately into my skin. No residue is left behind.

Fragrance

It’s fragrance-free.

How To Use It

You can use it in two ways:

  • Mix it with your fave serum or moisturiser
  • Alone, right before moisturiser. If you’re using an anti-aging serum, that goes first.

Performance & Personal Opinion

I don’t need to use a hydration booster in the summer but if I skip one in winter, I notice a difference immediately.

Indeed Labs Hydration Booster strengthens my skin’s protective barrier, so it can better withstand the cold weather and gives my skin that extra moisture it needs to stay well-hydrated.

After every use, my skin is soft and smooth and my fine lines look smaller too. The best thing is that my skin stays that way throughout the day now!

I dare you ruin my skin now, crappy winter weather!
