Phenomenal article! I minimize sun exposure during the hottest time of the afternoon. That means, just taking very quick dips in the sea, but staying underneath an umbrella and a wide brim hat while reading a book (not sunbathing) between 12 and 3 pm. I try to do most activities with long sun exposures (snorkling, swimming, sunbathing, paddle boarding, hiking) in the morning or from around 4 pm. Like you, I don’t wear makeup when I’m on the beach or doing sports. I wish I could find a tinted, water-resistant, moisturizing sunscreen.

My favorite aloe gel is the Etude House 99% 🙂 it’s more expensive, but it’s also fragrance-free and alcohol-free, with hyaluronic acid too! 😀
