In reply to Thelma Sansome. Thelma, it depends on what they contain. It's the antioxidants like vitamin C and retinol that go back when exposed to light and air. Anything with those should indeed come in opaque bottles and tubes. But if the moisturiser is basic, it just has moisturising ingredients and no extra frills, then housing them in jars is fine.

If that micellar cleansing water really removes makeup–heavy makeup–as well as you say WITHOUT leaving skin tight and dry, then I may have found a long-elusive cleanser! Seems none of them fully do both, just one or the other. I’m excited.

Hi, do you think that moisturizers are good in jars? I hear they lose there effectiveness as soon as the air and light gets to it and it should be stored in opaque bottles or tubes. Your thoughts?
