Y, did your skin get worse after you started using the vitamin C? 30% is an incredible high concentration and can dry out skin if you’re not used to it.

I do bespoke skincare consultations, so if you need more help with your routine, you can book a slot here: https://www.beautifulwithbrains.com/skincare-consultation/

Thanks for the recommendation. I picked up some of this today to help with my chest wrinkles – sleeping on your side is not the way to go! I was wondering if I could run my routine by you. I’ve been reading your lists of what not to mix with what and have made some corrections so that I’m no longer using retinol & aha together. I have aging skin (late 30s), large pores with lots of oiliness but am also really dry. At night I use miceller water to take off my makeup, Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser, The Ordinary’s Vitamin C Suspension 30% in water, Kiehls ultra face cream and then the Ordinary’s Rosehip oil over top. I used to use Strivectin’s advanced retinol intensive night moisturizer, but couldn’t figure out how to use it with the vitamin c. I have really bad redness right now from acne scars, and I was hoping the vitamin c would get rid of it so am leaving the retinol for right now. In the daytime, I use the Kiehls ultra facial cleanser again (am I possibly over-cleansing?), the ordinary’s Nicinamide 10% + zinc, clinique’s dramatically different moisturizing gel and then wait 15 min and pat on Shiesiedo’s 50 suncreen. It seems like a lot!! Any advice? I also have Paula’s choice 8% aha gel but am afraid to use it in case I’m over-exfoliating. Thanks so much for any advice you could give.
