What is your opinion on Avene’s 3 in 1 makeup remover? It works the same but claims to remove make up and sunscreen which can be nasty to get off. I’ve tried it a few times (it came in a kit) and I feel like it worked but it also left a light tacky feeling? I also tried to use it as a regular cleanser in the shower (so it would all get rinsed off) and it burned my eyes LOL and left an even WORSE feeling!! weird…..
]]>Hi David, thank you for your comment. You make a very valid point about why it can’t remove makeup. Although, as Avene markets this as a makeup remover too, I think they should be more clear about that.
I haven’t attended any classes yet, but hope to soon. But I’ve been studying this topic for several years now, and know several scientists who are helping me out. I’d love to get more hands on and get some firs hand experience though.
]]>I am David from Taiwan, i really love the part talking about the cosmetic tech.
Since being part of the beauty industry members, I am tired of many incorrect claim from brands.
I also like to share my opinion for this product. If you take Avéne target consumers in consideration, it is much easier to understand why it can’t remove water-proof make-up.
Basically, it’s for sensitive skin type. Anyway, really love your article.
Another questions, after reading your most of articles, it’s really professional, have you attended any cosmetic formulation classes?
Regards,
David
