In reply to Giulia. Giulia, this article is a few years old. I don't recommend any chemical filters on children but I haven't seen any solid scientific proof it's bad for adults too yet. Unfortunately, these days if something doesn't come from a plant, someone will say it's dangerous.

homosalate not accused of anything?! It’s a couple years already since it’s been discussed as an endocrine disruptor and there’s no consensus still abouy it’s safety. Definitely not something you wanna try especially on children

I do use it when it’s in some of my sunscreen products but I tend to stick to primarily zinc and titanium oxide based sunscreens. 😀

Since homosalate is related to salicylate , if you’re allergic to aspirin
, you could also be allergic to it as well.
