Steven, thank you again for sharing your experience with us, and for your warning. You’re so right, you can never ask enough questions, and always check credentials too. Even the best professionals can make mistakes, we’re all human after all. But you don’t want to take unnecessary chances.

Hi Gio,

Thank you for your reply. Sorry mine is so late! Yes yes yes! do your own research, ask lots of questions. After my scary experience with Jasmina I always ask a certain amount of questions, but as you rightly say there is always a certain risk involved with lasers but you can reduce this considerably by getting someone who has the correct experience. It’s the same with botox & such.

Glad yours was a positive experience – I’d hate for my experience to be repeated on anyone. Keep up the great work!

– Steven.

How awful and distressing. I’m glad you managed to have your skin repaired and a refund too.

However, my experience with Jasmina was positive. I got the facial for free, but my skin did look amazing afterwards, so I stand by every word I’ve wrote.

Having said that, accidents can happen. Something can always go wrong. So, yeah, be careful, and do your own research first. Then, decide. That’s great advice.

Gauri, a good therapist will tailor the treatment to your needs. Just tell her that you have dry skin, and she’ll adjust it accordingly.

BebeTaian, definitely sign up for something like this. It makes such a difference, especially when done by someone who actually understands skin and its issues, and doesn’t just rehash marketing spiel. Good professionals are out there, you just have to look carefully . 🙂
